Man, love and monkeys

OK, whilst I was wasting time trying to find you a good technical explanation of the right and left brains, I fell upon this:
…« man and woman clearly belong to two different species. In this era where one has begun the process of decrypting the human genome, you know perhaps that one can demonstrate that man and monkeys possess a shared genetic base, 98.4% in common, which leaves 1.6% of difference… whereas there is a 5% genetic difference between men and women. Thus, man is physiologically closer to a male monkey than to a woman! And naturally, female monkeys are closer to women!»
Would this also explain why women taste differently from men? Huge debate, but which Claudine and I see at every tasting, at the domain or elsewhere a glaring illustration: the tastes, the way of seizing the wine, the emotion before a glass, all this functions differently in the case of men and women. OK it’s not the most enriching thing I have ever written, but you might easily be able to place this diabolically interesting information at a future dinner;))
NB Claudine made the remark that for a long time she has noticed it is easier for women and monkeys to communicate with one another than women and certain men. The next time, I had better ask her. And it would be better to go and prepare the cellar for the harvest than to write;))
