12 hours a day with pleasure…

This evening, you are going to know why, I remember this expression…
It is the title of one of the special issues of the magazine «Autrement». I must have read it when I was doing my BTS in management at the l’École Hôtelière de Nice. Which is to say it doesn’t date from yesterday… A good twenty years ago, at least.
It narrated, with the help of lots of examples, the prodigious originality of certain people, entrepreneurs in the spirit that, 12 hours a day, they worked in their business or on their own, without having the least perception that they were even working…
Today, we were in the lorries at 6h45 and I have just come up from the cellar, at more or less 21h30. Only passion keeps one going in these circumstances. But it has its limits and it’s for that reason that this note will be brief ![]()
I just want to put you in the mood of the morning with this handsome photo taken at the break of dawn at Clos des Fèes.

The team at work, we rapidly did a tour of the vines which we were going to harvest this morning, with Serge, mistaking our route twice and going backwards in a load of uprooted clods! We are so tired, that we must have at least an hour in order to get our eyes well into their sockets… Also, everyone redoubles their prudence, in particular on the road. OK, on this, end of the day!
